Gelatin Egg Mold Kit User Manual

Introduction

Our egg-laying toys are compatible with non-soluble silicone eggs. If you prefer gelatin eggs, you can use this Gelatin Egg Mold Kit to create your own at home. Follow the instructions below for safe and effective preparation.

Materials Needed

  • Gelatin powder (approximately 20g per batch)

  • Hot water (80g per batch)

  • Mixing bowl & stirring tool

  • Syringe or pipette (for filling)

  • Refrigerator

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mixture

    • Use a 1:4 ratio of gelatin powder to water (e.g., 20g gelatin + 80g hot water). Adjust quantities as needed.

    • Slowly pour the gelatin powder into the hot water while stirring to avoid clumping.

    • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to fully dissolve and thicken.

  2. Fill the Mold

    • Use a syringe or pipette to slowly inject the mixture into each mold cavity, ensuring it is completely filled.

    • Work carefully to minimize air bubbles, as they may weaken the eggs.

  3. Set the Gelatin Eggs

    • Refrigeration Method (Recommended):

      • Freezer: ~30 minutes for faster setting (firmer texture).

      • Refrigerator: 3–5 hours for standard setting.

    • Once set, gently run cold water over the mold to loosen the eggs.

    • Press the bottom of each cavity to release the eggs smoothly.

Important Notes

  • Water Ratio Matters:

    • Too much water → Eggs become fragile and melt easily.

    • Too much gelatin → Mixture may clump, trap bubbles, or harden unevenly.

  • For Best Results:

    • Use warm (not boiling) water for smoother mixing.

    • Use eggs fresh after making; gelatin degrades over time.

    • Store unused eggs in a sealed container in the fridge (1–2 days max).

Troubleshooting

  • Sticky Eggs? → Dip mold in cold water longer before removal.

  • Bubbles? → Stir mixture gently and pour slowly.

  • Eggs Breaking? → Increase gelatin slightly or reduce water.

Safety & Care

  • This mold is reusable—wash with mild soap and warm water after use.

  • Gelatin eggs are body-safe but designed for single-use play.

Note: Results may vary based on ingredient quality and environmental conditions.
